Virtual Schools of Excellence (VSOE), is a fully accredited virtual school where students can take control of their academic career. Students come together in a virtual school environment by collaboration sessions, active student life through clubs and fieldtrips and participation in various community projects. The VSOE student body is comprised of all levels of learners and those who have special needs such as professional athletes (NCAA approved), musicians, actors, students with an Individualized Education Plan or 504 plan, at-risk, gifted, and accelerated students/learners.

 

Virtual Schools of Excellence is committed to ensuring that students are provided a superior quality of education to meet and exceed the current academic standards and technology growth. VSOE offers dual enrollment and an international diploma. VSOE  students can participate in various clubs and associations for student community life.

 

As a leader in virtual education, VSOE, hold students accountable for high standards of academics and character, while maintaining open and on-going communications with teachers and within the community. Students will create a virtual portfolio to help them to begin to prepare them for college or a career. Students can access either their personal VSOE guidance counselor or a VSOE Career Guidance Counselor to unwrap the possibilities.

 

Virtual Schools of Excellence offers many benefits. Students can take honor level courses, Advance Placement and additional courses to get ahead. If a student needs credit recovery or a personalized learning strategy plan, VSOE can help. Students built-in collaboration tool gives students the ability to interact with their teacher and peers. Students are given access to a 24/7 helpdesk so that if an issue arises, they can be sure that help is only a click away.  While the students can work anywhere at anytime, they are also able to track upcoming deadlines, assignments, and tests by using the built-in calendar and message center. Tracking progress is also easy for parents. Parents are given a portal to view real time progress, assignments, grades, and a message center directly to teachers.

 

All instructors/teachers are highly qualified, certified in their subject area and have had extensive background check. This is important to ensure the safety of students and all users of VSOE. As online Instructors all VSOE personnel possess strong technology and communication skills and have student-focused approach.
